The Person behind The Business Card.. So Here’s My Story
With 13+ years of experience in real estate, I bring a vibrant energy and dedication to every property transaction. While buying and selling can be stressful, I try to infuse fun and excitement into the process when I can. It is not just about being successful in the transaction outcome but about having a quality experience, too. My home, which I fought hard to
keep through difficult times, is 112 years old. I have a soft spot for historic
properties, and I am drawn to the character and charm they exude,
making me the go-to expert for those seeking these unique gems.
What truly sets me apart isn’t just my market expertise or negotiation
skills; it’s my genuine investment in my clients’ journeys. I take the time
to understand their needs, aspirations and financial goals. For me, it’s
not merely about closing a deal; it’s about finding that perfect abode that
aligns with your dreams and lifestyle. If a property doesn’t serve your
long-term interests, I won’t hesitate to steer you away, prioritizing your
contentment over immediate sales. I strive to build lifelong relationships,
serving as your REALTOR® for life through all of life’s transitions!
Growing up, I held onto a belief: work hard, excel and success would
follow. That ethos propelled me into the challenging yet intriguing world
of pharmaceutical sales. The job wasn’t just about selling drugs; it was
about knowing them better than anyone else, building relationships with
doctors and navigating the rural territories I oversaw. I thrived on the
challenge and the connections I made. However, life doesn’t always follow the script we’ve penned in our minds. After dedicating myself to various territories and roles within the pharmaceutical industry, life dealt me a harsh blow. The job security I thought was guaranteed shattered like fragile glass. I was laid off, not once, not twice, but four times! Each time, the rationale was the same— cutting expenses, and not the value brought or the relationships I’d built. Losing my job in a field I’d invested over two decades in was gut- wrenching. I found myself in a limbo of uncertainty, staring at a new house I’d just bought, wondering how I’d keep it without a steady income. I took odd jobs, even traveling with a family
member’s pizza wagon at one point, just to make ends meet. It wasn’t glamorous, but survival rarely is. The consistent layoffs opened my eyes to a reality I hadn’t fully comprehended—hard work and dedication didn’t guarantee security. My faith in the corporate world’s reciprocation of loyalty waned. With each layoff, I climbed higher on the salary ladder, but the fall felt more devastating.
Amidst this turmoil, a friend’s suggestion nudged me towards real estate.
Fear clenched my heart as I contemplated leaving behind the stability,
the benefits and the known path. Stepping into the unfamiliarity of real
estate was akin to leaping off a cliff, a terrifying prospect for someone not
naturally inclined toward risk-taking.

From the security of a salaried job to the uncertainty of commission-
based earnings, the transition was intimidating. But with each client
interaction, each property shown, a sense of fulfillment seeped in. Real
estate wasn’t just about selling homes; it was about investing in people’s
dreams, guiding them through pivotal life decisions.
The change brought not just financial adjustments but a mental shift.
Investing in people and building genuine relationships are the bedrock of
my real estate business. I genuinely want to help people and am immensely grateful to be a trusted advisor, ensuring clients make informed decisions. In real estate, I found what had eluded me in pharmaceuticals—a sense of purpose, the joy of investing time, energy and care into something meaningful. The personal connections and the difference I could make in people’s lives became my driving force. For the first time, I was completely happy with my career path.
Yes, the journey was rocky, peppered with uncertainties, but each
upheaval led me closer to where I belong—a place where my values
resonate, where investing in people brings its own rewards.
Through real estate, I was able to keep my beloved home where I still
reside. One of my favorite things to do is cook, inviting friends over to
enjoy a wonderful meal together! We also enjoy going to live concerts and
golfing.
For much of my life, dogs have been the center of my world. It is a
mission of mine to help animals. I work on the board of the Louisville
Animal Care Society, the first no-kill shelter in Louisville. As a
REALTOR®, I was able to help them purchase an adjacent building and
lot to create more room for dog runs. I’m proud to not only help people
with my work but also animals needing a second chance to find their
forever homes!
